What should I do if I haven't reached my contraceptive threshold in 3 months?

1 min read

Depending on your sensitivity to heat, you may not reach the contraceptive threshold after 3 months. In fact, 15 hours a day works for the vast majority of people, but not for everyone.

The following questions should then be asked:

  • Is the tool really suitable?
  • Is this really a method I want to use?
  • Are my testicles well above the root of my penis when I practice?
  • Do I have to practice at least 14 hours a day?
  • Is my daily routine well ritualized or am I forgetting to wear it?

Depending on the answers, we may have to make some adjustments. The main one is to increase the wearing time from 15 to 18 hours a day on average, for 1 month. Then schedule a spermogram to check whether this is enough to reach the contraceptive threshold.
