When I wear the ring, sometimes a testicle goes down.

2 min read

Having the testicles glued together, without positioning them above the penis and the ring in the inguinal pouch at the level of the hairs, is not sufficient and doesn't respect protocol. So you're deviating from what's been studied. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it does expose you to more unforeseen circumstances. For some it may work, but for the vast majority of people it won't. And to determine this, you need to know your sensitivity to heat; how your testicles receive this heat. In baggy mode, the testicles are exposed to heat, but it's not optimal. So in the start-up phase, you really need to aim to have them above the root of the penis.

Here are several possible solutions, which can be combined:

  1. You're not wearing your ring properly.
  2. Hypersudation increases ring slippage.
  3. Too many hairs that limit ring adhesion.
  4. A misunderstanding of how to ascend.
  5. Your ring is too wide.
  6. Your ring is too soft.
  7. The type of ring you're using isn't right for you.
  8. Rings don't suit you at all. In that case, you'd be better off with jockstraps or briefs.
  9. Your physiology simply doesn't allow you to wear a ring.
