That's an excellent question!
Despite 40 years of successful experimentation, the journey from scientific discovery to widely available, marketed products is often long. Thermal contraception, like other methods of testicular contraception, has not attracted much interest from public authorities or industrialists who could fund its development.
Until now, the use of this method has been largely informal, mainly through workshops and the sale of the Andro-Switch, which has limited its spread. To date, there is still no CE-certified testicular lift device on the market as a contraceptive method.
However, efforts to have these devices recognized and certified are underway, and it's likely that certified products will be available in the coming years. If you're reading this and already using this method, you're one of the pioneers. In France, an estimated 25,000 people are currently using this method.
