That's an excellent question!
Despite 40 years of successful experimentation, the road from scientific discovery to widely available, marketed products is often a long one. Thermal contraception, like other methods of testicular contraception, has not aroused much interest on the part of public authorities or industrialists who could fund its development.
Until now, the use of this method has been largely informal, notably through workshops and the sale of the androswitch, which has limited its spread. To date, there is still no CE-certified testicular lift device on the market as a contraceptive method.
However, efforts to have these devices recognized and certified are underway, and it's likely that in the years to come, certified products will be available. If you're reading this and you're already using this method, you're one of the pioneers. In France, an estimated 25,000 people are currently using this method.
